ABOUT ME
My name is Emily Grace Allen and I'm originally from upstate NY but now live in NYC. I've been involved in theatre ever since the age of 6. Since then, I have continued to grow and train in all the great aspects of theatre!
I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College where I received my BFA in Musical Theatre. Though I have always been a performer at heart, I have also done extensive work off the stage. I have done training in every department and have worked on many shows as a crew member. One department in particular I love is the wig department. This love has turned into a passion and has led me to pursue designing wigs and a career and cosmetology.

The Book of Mormon Tour
Currently I am working as the head of Hair and Makeup on The Book of Mormon National Tour. Travelling all of North America, I'm running tracks and maintaining wigs all while listening to this hysterical show!
Cosmetology License
I have decided to pursue a license in cosmetology. I'm currently exceeding 800 hours at ARROJO Academy and am prospected to graduate in early spring. Follow graduation, I hope to get my full license as soon as possible.
Beehive: The 70s Musical
My most recent desinger credit! I had the wonderful opportunity to work directly with TRW as the hair and makeup designer for their new work Beehive: The 70s Musical. It premiered this past August at the Mac-Haydn Theatre.
